Chinese New Year 27th February 2007 - An evening full of fun that all enjoyed Including: Traditional Lion Dance,Traditional Music, Dance Shaolin Martial Arts Displays, Chinese Circus Performance, Traditional Food And A Little Magic.

Chinese Moon Festival 2006 was part of the Barnsley all diversity festival and was a grate afternoon with traditional food and decorations and a chance to try a piece of moon cake.

The success of Barnsley 's Summer Carnival and Parade was matched only by the great weather, as crowds flocked to the town centre on Saturday. Around 15,000 people came to the event and were entertained by live music, street theatre, children's entertainment and a street parade of more than 2,000 people.

Stilt-walkers, majorettes, brass bands, dancers and people of all ages from many different organisations made up the walking parade. The crowds were also entertained by acts performing on stages around the town centre. Year: 2006

Taste of Cultural Diversity event held in Barnsley on 15 October 2006. It’s a social event with Live Music, Dance and creative workshop as well as giving you the chance to taste food from the many different cultures that now call Barnsley home.

Chinese New Year [Feb 2006] was held at Barnsley town Hall and was enjoyed by all with appearances from the lion dace and Martial Arts Displays from Manchester as well as traditional music and dance.
